About Me

I believe that social change starts with the individual. That’s why I devote my energy to becoming the best person I can be and helping others do the same.

For me, a day without learning is like a breath without air. When I discover a new subject that interests me, I get a relentless curiosity to learn everything there is to know about it.

Here’s a few examples:

I’m fascinated by indigenous cultures and the traditions we can incorporate into modern life to restore our connection with the environment and each other. I’ve studied numerous cultures and am always seeking opportunities to participate in tribal rituals, wild food foraging, and communal living.

I learned the hard way that the modern American diet is disastrous to human wellbeing. Through several years of research and experimentation, I finally discovered an ancestral diet, herbal remedies, and functional medicine that healed my thyroid and restored my health.

After starting psychotherapy, I set out to learn all about emotions and techniques for healing childhood trauma. I read about dream interpretation and began recording and studying the patterns in my dreams. I studied the Enneagram of Personality, which transformed my understanding of myself and everyone around me.

I love sharing my knowledge with others, especially when I can help them get in touch with their emotions and overcome their barriers to intimacy and connection.

I grew up in a conservative small town near Pittsburgh, PA. I’ve changed a lot since then over the course of my journey through Ukraine, the Dominican Republic, Lubbock TX, Charleston SC, and finally out to San Francisco.

Nowadays I get my creative outlet playing fiddle with Redwood Rodeo and going to Bluegrass jams. I also enjoy practicing acro yoga and going on hikes around the beautiful Bay Area.
